About CineTalkies 2022
The word Freedom to us has come after a long and unceasing struggle and combat. Every discipline of life was part of this biggest Independence Movement and so was the glamorous yet impactful Cinema World. One can’t ignore it’s contribution for the freedom of this nation, in fact the very birth of Bharatiya Cinema was the national realization of “self” i.e. “स्व”. No independence ever attains the maturity without the search and finding of SELF. Interestingly, the history of Bharatiya cinema of past 126-years is the omnibus of our past struggle of 500-years and peregrinated journey of next 75-years.
To commemorate this journey, Sanskar Bharati along with Mumbai University Academy of Theatre Arts and IGNCA will be organizing a 2 days national level colloquium CineTALKies : सिने सृष्टि भारतीय दृष्टि at the Mumbai University Kalina Campus.
